What We Believe
We believe
that the Bible consists of 39 Books (Genesis - Malachi) compiled
together and commonly known and referred to as the Old Testament, and 27
Books (Matthew - Revelation) compiled together and commonly known and referred to as the
New Testament. And these combined 66 Books constitute the complete
and finished Bible, the complete and finished revelation of God to man, and that there are NO new revelations or traditions for the Church today apart from what is written within the Scriptures.
We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God unto salvation, and that people are saved eternally by God's Grace through personal faith in the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus apart from any and all human merit or achievement. We believe in Redemption and Forgiveness of sins through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ!We believe that Justification is by "faith alone," and based wholly and completely upon the Redemption found in Christ alone. We believe that true, biblical faith comes only through the "Ministry of the Holy Spirit" as He faithfully and effectually operates through the "ministry of the written Word." We believe that no one will ever be saved apart from the work of the Holy Spirit in reproving of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and His revelation of Jesus Christ to their minds and hearts as their Lord and Saviour! We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who is God the Son, and that He is the only Saviour of this world. We hold that only those who "believe with all their hearts" should be baptized, and that we are called to make disciples of all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. We believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell, in the absolute necessity of the New Birth, that those who are born-again will spend eternity in heaven with God, and those who are not born-again will spend eternity separated from God in a devil's hell. Our Church holds firmly to the Trinity consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All our beliefs can be found in the Bible, and for us the Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice. For a more detailed list of our beliefs please see
